SWEET POTATO PIE 
2 med. size sweet potatoes
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Carnation or Pet milk
3 eggs
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. vanilla flavor
Pie crust (ready made or your own)

Wash potatoes and boil until done. Peel potatoes and mash, strain if needed to get rid of stringy pulp. Set aside.

Make custard adding sugar, eggs and milk. Stir until smooth and creamy. Put in a double boiler on low burner. Cook until it thickens. Add potatoes and stir until well blended. Add vanilla flavor and nutmeg. Ready for crust. Pour custard into pie crust. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes.
