1/2 c. salt
1 1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. alum
1 tbsp. oil
2 c. flour
Coloring (opt.)

Cook salt, water, alum and oil until warm. Add food coloring, if desired. Add flour; knead well. Store in air tight container. Omit alum if you want dough to harden.
