ONE HOUR HAMBURGER - VEGETABLE
SOUP
 
6 tsp. instant beef bouillon
5 c. boiling water
1 lg. can tomatoes, whole
1 lg. onion, cut up
3/4 c. sliced celery
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 bay leaves
1/8 tsp. pepper
16 oz. pkg. mixed vegetables
1 lb. ground beef, browned
1/4 head cabbage, cut up (sm.)

Dissolve bouillon in 5 cups boiling water. Add tomatoes, onions, celery, garlic powder bay leaves and pepper. Cover and simmer 1/2 hour. Brown beef and add mixed vegetables and cabbage. Be sure to remove bay leaves before adding vegetables and cabbage. Cook. Better warmed up.
