HAMBURGER VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef, extra lean
1/2 c. or more chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1 (46 oz.) tomato juice
3 c. water
1 to 1 1/2 c. small noodles
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lg. pkg. frozen mixed vegetables

Brown meat, onion and salt in a 4 quart pan. Add tomato juice and water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Add noodles and pepper. Cook 10 minutes. Then add vegetables and cook another 10 minutes or until vegetables are done. Lower heat and simmer 1/2 hour or more.
