THE "BEST" BLUEBERRY PIE 
1 (9-inch) deep dish pie shell, baked
4 c. fresh blueberries
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water
1 tbsp. butter

Wash berries and pat dry between paper towels. Line shell with 3 cups berries. Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, and water with remaining berries in saucepan; cook gently until thick.

Remove from heat; add butter and stir. Cool slightly and pour over berries in shell. Chill for several hours or overnight.

We have found this to be the very best blueberry pie we have put into our mouths. I just sprinkle 1/4 teaspoons of cinnamon on the top of the crust before baking. It is a perfect pie!
