BEST PIE CRUST 
2 1/4 c. flour
2 c. lard
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar

Mix all together to a crumb stage. Add, mixed together: 1 egg, beaten 1 tsp. vinegar

Combine the last 3 ingredients and add to first mixture, mix by hand. Pour onto floured board and add more flour until you can handle easily. This makes enough dough for 4 two-crust 8 inch pies.
