GROUND MEAT AND POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. milk
4 c. sliced, cooked potatoes

In skillet, brown beef and cook onion until tender. Use shortening, if necessary. Stir to separate meat; pour off fat. Stir in soup, milk, and cheese. Heat until cheese melts. Add potatoes. Heat and serve. Makes 6 (1 cup) servings.
