1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
5 tsp. cornstarch
Pinch salt
3 egg yolks

MERINGUE:

3 egg whites
6 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar

Mix ingredients in a heavy bottom pan. Cook until thick. Pour into flaky pie crust. Cool, top with meringue, return to oven until meringue is brown.

MERINGUE: Whip all ingredients together until light and fluffy.
