STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE 
1 qt. strawberries, sliced
2/3 c. sugar
2 1/3 c. Bisquick
1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. melted butter

Sprinkle strawberries with 2/3 cup sugar; let stand for 1 hour.

Heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix remaining ingredients until soft dough forms. Do not knead dough. Spread 1/3 dough in ungreased round pan 8 x 1 1/2 inch or square pan 8x8x2. Layer strawberries, dough, strawberries and dough. Bake 15-20 minutes. 6-8 servings.

Great when served with sugar and milk! May also serve with whipped cream.
