BERYL FLORY'S SHORTBREAD 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 1/2 c. flour

Cream butter and sugar, add flour gradually. Press flat in 2 (8 x 8 inch pans. Prick with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Cut into squares. After cutting place back in turned off oven for 30 minutes.
