STRAWBERRY CRUNCH 
1 c. butter, melted
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 c. water
Dash of salt
5 tbsp. cornstarch
1 (3 oz.) strawberry Jello
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Strawberries, sliced
Cool Whip
Red food coloring

Mix first 3 ingredients. Press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

Cook sugar, water, cornstarch and salt until clear and thick. Add jelly, lemon juice and food coloring. Cool filling and crust. Cover crust with sliced strawberries. Pour filling over berries. Refrigerate 3-4 hours. Top with Cool Whip.
