FRUITED RICE CURRY 
1 c. long grain rice
1 tbsp. instant minced onion
1 tsp. curry powder
2 beef or chicken bouillon cubes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. mixed dried fruits, chopped
2 tbsp. light raisins
1/4 c. blanched slivered almonds

Combine all ingredients. Package in airtight containers. (May be given as gifts.)

TO PREPARE RICE CURRY:

Combine rice mixture with 2 1/2 cups water and 2 tablespoons butter. Cover tightly. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Do not light cover. Makes 4 cups cooked rice.
