1 head lettuce, shredded
1 med. onion, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 pkg. frozen peas, thawed in cold water
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
Bacon bits

Layer in above order, don't toss.

DRESSING:

2 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar

Mix and spread on salad like frosting. Sprinkle with bacon bits.
