PEPPER STEAK 
2 lbs. round steak, sliced thin
1 stick butter
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 can whole tomatoes
1 beef bouillon cube
1 or 2 green peppers, sliced
1 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 c. water

Saute round steak and onions in butter; sprinkle with garlic salt. Add tomatoes and beef bouillon and simmer until tender. Add green peppers and simmer 10 minutes longer. Mix cornstarch, soy sauce, sugar, and water. Add to beef, stirring until thick. Serve over rice or noodles.
