PEPPER STEAK 
Round steak
1 stick butter
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
1 beef bouillon cube
Garlic salt
1 sm. onion
3/4 to 1 green pepper
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar

Pound steak; rub with garlic salt. Brown strips of meat in 1 stick of butter. Take out meat and add cut-up onion and strips of green pepper. Add 1 can tomatoes; cut up with fork. Add 1 beef bouillon cube. Return meat to pan. Simmer for 40 minutes. Mix in soy sauce, water, cornstarch, salt, and sugar mixture. Serve over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes.
