HAMBURGER STEAK WITH MUSHROOM
SOUP
 
1 lb. hamburger steak
1 egg
1 can mushroom soup
1/4 can water
1 onion, chopped
Salt and pepper

Mix hamburger steak, onion, egg, salt and pepper. Make into patties and brown in hot grease. Put browned patties in casserole and add mushroom soup and 1/4 can water. Bake in oven at 375 degrees about 40 minutes.

Use small amount of onion or you will have an onion burger with only 1 lb. Meat and it was a little too watery with the egg the burger fell apart in oil when flipping . Flavor is pretty good. I mixed the water and soup in 9x9 pan then placed burgers on top then spooned over rice.

Used olive oil instead of grease to brown the steaks and added garlic salt instead of plain salt to the patties. Covered the casserole dish with foil. Kids and husband loved this and I'll be doing it again.
