HAMBURGER STEAK WITH MUSHROOM
SOUP
 
2 lbs. ground steak
1 c. bread crumbs
1 green pepper, chopped
Dash of salt & pepper
1/2 c. milk
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 can mushroom soup, thinned with 3/4 can water

Mix ground beef with crumbs, milk, pepper, salt and onions. Form into patties. Brown slightly in small amount of fat. Pour over this the mushroom sauce. Sprinkle green pepper over top. Cover and cook on top of stove, slow heat, for 1 hour. If gravy is thin, remove lid and cook down.
