POTATO KUGEL 
2 med. onions, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter or chicken fat
2 well beaten eggs
2 c. grated raw potatoes
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Salt & pepper to taste

Saute onions and garlic in butter until brown. Combine grated potatoes with the well beaten eggs and set aside. Combine all dry ingredients and add to potato mixture. Then add onion, garlic and butter mixture and blend well. Pour into greased 1 quart casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Edges should be brown and crispy.
