HOLIDAY CRANBERRY BREAD | |
1 c. sugar 1 tbsp. grated orange peel 3/4 c. water 1/3 c. orange juice 2 tbsp. oil 1 egg 2 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 c. fresh or frozen cranberries 1 c. chopped walnuts Mix all ingredients, except cranberries and nuts. Mix and stir until moistened. Stir in cranberries and nuts carefully. Pour into greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean (350 degrees). Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan. |
