COCOA-ON-CALL
This cocoa mix makes an extra chocolaty drink.

EQUIPMENT:

Measuring cups
Storage container with airtight cover
Wooden spoon
Mug
Small saucepan
Small spoon

INGREDIENTS:

2 1/2 c. nonfat dry milk powder
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
Water
Marshmallows (if you like)

1. To make the cocoa mix, in the storage container put dry milk powder, powdered sugar and cocoa powder. Stir with the wooden spoon until mixed. Cover the container. Store the cocoa mix in a cool, dry place.

2. For each serving, put 1/3 cup of the cocoa mix in a mug. Put 2/3 cup water in the saucepan. Put the pan on burner. Turn to high. Heat until the water is bubbly. Turn off the burner. Carefully pour the hot water into the mug. Stir with the small spoon until mixed. Top with marshmallows, if you like. Makes enough mix for 10 (6 ounce) servings.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:

Make the cocoa mix as directed in Step 1. For each serving, put 1/3 cup of the cocoa mix in a microwave-safe mug. Add 2/3 cup cold water. Stir with the small spoon until mixed. Put the mug in the microwave oven. Set on high (100%) power. Micro-cook for 30 seconds. Stir. If the cocoa is not hot enough, micro-cook for 15 to 30 seconds more.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
