SCALLOPED OYSTERS 
1 can corn
10 soda crackers, crushed (not to fine)
Butter
1 can oysters (or 1/2 pint fresh oysters)
Salt and pepper

Into a buttered casserole put first a layer of corn, then a layer of oysters, then a layer of cracker crumbs; dot with butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper, and continue until all ingredients are used. Finish the top with crackers rolled fine. Pour the oyster liqueur or juice over all, dot generously with butter. Bake in moderate oven (375 degrees) about 30 minutes, or until the top is nicely browned.
