To make Popsicles follow this, instead of running out to get a popsicle tray try this first. Pour mix into small Dixie cups (the bathroom size cups) place in freezer. When mix is slightly frozen insert sticks. When frozen take out use warm water to loosen Popsicle and there you go!!

Try this too, make 1 packet of koolaid with hot water and only 1 quart water using full amount of sugar, freeze and eat like above!

It was a really easy to prepare and delicious smoothie! Perfect for people who are lactose intolerant and can't have milk in their smoothies.

This is yummy and so easily adjusted to taste and likes..I make it with one banana, pineapple, strawberries, and strawberry yogurt, then thin it down a bit with pineapple or orange juice..or I use pineapple, one banana, a whole ripe mango and vanilla yogurt.. and a little pineapple juice smooths it out..and if you don't have to watch calories, a good tablespoon of coconut milk is really delish in it.. enjoy:)

Actually just don't add any sweeteners or things like Splenda! they are just as bad as sugar but in a different way!

Delicious. I used frozen bananas and strawberries that would have otherwise gone bad in my house, added canned pineapple and pineapple juice instead of water. Because the bananas and strawberries were frozen, I didn't need to add ice and I left out the sugar. Absolutely delish! I'm thinking better than Jamba Juice even :) And my 2 year old son loved it as well!

Shannon, just read the label on the yougurt, look up calorie count for banana's, strawberry portion amount. That process will get you your calorie count. Most things have a label on them to figure this, and with fruit..well you measure and estimate closely. I know this, I have been a diabetic for 43 years. Hope this helps.

I am interested from a diabetics stand point what the carb count is and the serving size..my son and I are both type 1 diabetics and we love Tropical Smoothie Cafe but have been looking for a recipe like this to try at home. Very good!! (more affordable). Thanks for sharing it.
