NEVER-FAIL MERINGUE 
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Yield: topping for 1 (9") pie. Use topping for cream or fruit pies. Baking Time: 10 minutes or until meringue is golden.

1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. cornstarch dissolved in 1 tbsp. water
3 egg whites
6 tbsp. superfine sugar
