DATE FINGERS 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 pkg. dates, chopped
1 egg, beaten
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. pecans, chopped
Dry coconut

Mix first 4 ingredients together. Cook for 10 minutes over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies and pecans. When cool enough to handle shape into fingers and roll in dry coconut. Makes approximately 3 dozen.
