COCONUT CREAM CAKE | |
1 box butter recipe golden cake mix Prepare cake batter according to package directions. Pour into three greased and floured 9-inch cake pans. Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pans and let cool on wire racks. COCONUT CREAM: 2 cups dairy sour cream 1 (10 oz.) pkg. flaked coconut 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted 1/2 cup sugar In a bowl combine dairy sour cream, coconut, nuts and sugar. Place one cake on a serving platter; spread 1/3 of sour cream mixture. Repeat layers twice. Keep in refrigerator. Makes 1 (3 layer) cake - 12 to 16 servings. Submitted by: Mandee |
