CINDY'S TEN MINUTE FUDGE
This is a quick and easy foolproof recipe and has been used by my family over 30 years for the holidays. Reese's peanut butter morsels and Nestle chocolate morsels have always worked best for me.

1/2 cup (1 stick) real butter (no substitutes!)
2 cups granulated sugar
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
10 oz. morsels*
1 1/2 tbsp. real vanilla extract

Note: For the morsels, either Nestle's Toll House semi-sweet chocolate, Reese's Peanut butter or any flavor morsels you prefer.

Depending on flavor of fudge, you can add a cup of chopped walnuts for the chocolate; or a cup of chopped SALTED peanuts for the peanut butter fudge. Also, for variety, in the chocolate version, I have added a third cup of Hershey's dark cocoa powder, as well as the walnuts, and 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows to make Rocky Road Fudge.

In a non-stick 3-quart saucepan, melt butter on medium heat, Add sugar and evaporated milk, stirring constantly, until it comes to a fast boil. Set timer for 5 minutes at this point. Stir constantly. At the end of 5 minutes remove from heat.

Add your choice morsels and vanilla, stir quickly till morsels are mostly melted. Add nuts and/or any other items at this time (will have already started to get hard).

Pour into a parchment lined (or sprayed) 8-inch square pan or 9x13-inch if you want thinner pieces. Cool on a cooling rack until totally firm, and no warmth is left. Enjoy!
