4 c. strawberries
1 box Sure-Jell, light
2 3/4 c. sugar

Clean and crush strawberries and place in large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix 1/4 cup sugar from measured amount and 1 box of Sure-Jell. Add Sure-Jell mixture to the strawberries, stir 2 to 3 minutes. Add remaining sugar to fruit. Stir until sugar dissolves. Fill jars and let stand at room temperature for 24 hours. Then freeze.
