SIX LAYER CASSEROLE 
1 lb. pork sausage
1 1/2 c. sliced raw potatoes
1/2 c. sliced onions
1 c. sliced raw carrots
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. tomatoes
2 tbsp. sugar

Partly cook sausage and drain. Place sausage in a 2-quart casserole dish and cover with layers of rice, potatoes, onions and carrots. Add tomatoes. Combine salt, pepper and sugar and sprinkle over top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
