GOURMET STEW 
1 lb. stew beef
6 potatoes
1 chopped onion
1 green pepper
2 carrots
1 env. brown gravy mix
1 c. water
3-5 strips bacon, raw
1 can tomato soup

Combine in oven dish. Sprinkle with bacon and top with tomato soup. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 hours. Serve over noodles or boiled potatoes.
