GRANDMOTHER'S WHIPPED CREAM
POUND CAKE
 
1/2 lb. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. whipping cream
3 c. plain flour

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour and whipping cream alternately. Add vanilla. Bake in greased and floured tube pan 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees. Place cake in cold oven. Two loaf pans may be used (5 x 7 inches). If using loaf pans, bake 1 hour.
