APRICOT GELATIN SALAD 
FIRST LAYER:

1 (4 serving size) apricot flavored Jello
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. pineapple bits, drained well and save juice OR crushed pineapple can be used
1 c. miniature marshmallows
2 c. bananas, sliced

Make the apricot Jello. Follow package instructions. Add pecans and pineapple bits. Mix in marshmallows and bananas. Pour into rectangular Pyrex type dish. (Cool above ingredients before pouring into dish). Let this set until slightly firm.

SECOND LAYER:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. pineapple juice saved from pineapple bits
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
Cool Whip or Dream Whip

Mix cream cheese, juice, sugar and egg. Cook until thick. Let cool and spread on top of first layer. Refrigerate until firm. Top with Cool Whip or Dream Whip.

Chill before serving.
