SPICED APRICOT OR PEACH GELATIN
SALAD
 
3/4 c. canned apricot or peach juice
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
12 whole cloves
2 sticks cinnamon
Hot water or orange juice
1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange gelatin
1 lg. can of apricots or peaches

Mix together juice, vinegar, sugar, cloves and cinnamon; simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Drain syrup from fruit and add to above mixture. Strain this and add enough hot water or orange juice to make a total of 2 cups liquid. Dissolve orange gelatin in this. Chill slightly and add canned fruit.
