HAMBURGER STUFFED PEPPERS 
2 tbsp. butter
1 med. size onion, chopped
1/2 lb. hamburger
2 fresh tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
Dash of black pepper
1 c. coarse bread crumbs
1/2 c. fine buttered crumbs

Saute the onion, hamburger and the tomatoes, peeled and cut into pieces, in the drippings until the onion is grayish in color. Season with salt and pepper; add the coarse bread crumbs. Stuff into previously prepared green peppers and top with the buttered crumbs.

How to prepare peppers - cut lengthwise and parboil for 3-4 minutes. Stuff with hamburger filling and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
