POTATO CASSEROLE 
6 med. potatoes
1 pt. sour cream
1/4 lb. butter
1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
1 sm. onion
1 tbsp. chopped freeze-dried chives

Cook peeled small pieces of potatoes, then drain the water. Saute onion (or cook in microwave). Add butter and sour cream and beat until creamy. Add grated cheese and chopped onion and chives. Cook at 350 degrees in a casserole dish for 30 minutes or refrigerate and cook later.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
