CINNAMON BREAD 
1/4 c. oil
1 1/2 c. sugar, divided
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. cinnamon

Combine oil, 1 cup sugar, egg, buttermilk, baking soda, flour and salt; beat well. Pour half of batter into a greased bread pan. Combine cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar. Sprinkle half of cinnamon-sugar mixture over batter. Pour in rest of batter and sprinkle remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over top.

Bake at 350°F for 50 to 60 minutes.
