HOMEMADE BREAD OR CINNAMON ROLLS
6 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 pkgs. dry yeast
1/2 c. butter, melted
2 c. warm water

Combine 2 cups of the flour with sugar, salt, yeast and butter in large mixing bowl. Mix well.

Gradually add warm water and stir well. Mix in one more cup of flour.

Mix in the remaining 3 cups of flour, kneading until well mixed.

Grease top of dough, cover and let rise for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Punch down and let rest 10 minutes. Punch down again and let rest 10 minutes more.

Divide dough into halves. Roll out in rectangular shape. Sprinkle generously with mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon. After spreading melted butter on rolled out dough, sprinkle a few chopped pecans and sugar and cinnamon.

Starting at long side of dough, roll up tightly as you would a jelly roll. With a sharp knife, slice rolls into 1 inch pieces in greased pan about 1/2 inch apart. Place in warm place and let rise for at least one hour or 1 1/2 hours. Bake 350 degrees for about 25 minutes.

It is the first time I made homemade cinnamon rolls and I am proud of myself. My husband ate two right off the bat. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. I will keep it always. Enjoy your day.
