AUNT SIS'S SWEET BREAD ROLLS OR
CINNAMON ROLLS
 
1 potato, mashed
1 1/2 c. milk, scalded
1/2 c. sugar, added to milk
2 level tsp. shortening
1 tbsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. lukewarm water to dissolve 1/2 cake yeast
3 c. flour, stirred in with spoon, mix well and let rise to double

Then add 2 cups flour and spoon into cup cake pans and let rise 1 hour. For making cinnamon buns, roll out after they raise double and spread with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon and put in pan. Let raise 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
