PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH SALAD 
1/2 head lettuce
2-3 hard boiled eggs
8-10 strips bacon (fried crisp)
5 tbsp. wine vinegar
6 tbsp. sugar
1 slightly beaten egg
The hot bacon grease

Cut up lettuce. Add eggs and crumbled bacon. Mix vinegar, sugar and 1 slightly beaten egg. Stir this into hot bacon grease and cook until thickened. Pour over lettuce.
