TOFFEE SQUARES 
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 (4 oz.) bar Baker's German Sweet Chocolate, broken in pieces
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar. Blend in one egg yolk and vanilla. Add flour and mix well. Spread in greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from oven and place chocolate pieces evenly over crust. Sprinkle with nuts. Cool; cut in squares.
