FROZEN OREO DESSERT 
1 lb. pkg. Hydrox or Oreo cookies, crushed
1/2 c. melted butter
1 lg. can Carnation milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 squares chocolate, melted
1/2 gallon ice cream
Whipping cream or Dream Whip
Walnuts

Mix together crushed cookies and melted butter like pie crust. Put in two 9x13 inch cake pans. Chill.

Combine milk, sugar, 1/2 cup butter and melted chocolate in a heavy saucepan. Cook and then boil 10 to 15 minutes or until thick. Stir real often. (Watch it all the time as this burns easily.) Cool.

Put softened ice cream on crumbs. Divide between 2 pans. Put in freezer and freeze again. When frozen, spread cooled chocolate filling over ice cream in both pans and return to freezer. When frozen, whip 2 cups of cream and put on top and sprinkle with your favorite nuts.
