RAW APPLE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. cooking oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. raw apples, chopped well
1 c. nuts (walnut or pecan)

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Bake at 325 or 350 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes in a greased and floured tube pan. For a glaze, combine 1 stick butter, 1/4 cup milk and 1 cup packed brown sugar. Cook over low heat 5 to 8 minutes. Pour over cake while warm.
