RAW APPLE CAKE WITH CINNAMON
SAUCE
 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening or oil
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
4 c. chopped raw apples (Golden Delicious)
3 eggs, beaten slightly
1 c. nuts (optional)
1 c. raisins (optional)

Blend flour, sugar and dry ingredients. Stir in oil and beaten eggs and apples. Stir all together and bake in any kind of baking pan at 350 degrees for almost 1 hour. Don't over bake. Spray pan with no-stick shortening.

CINNAMON SAUCE:

1 c. granulated sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
2 c. boiling water
4 tbsp. butter
Dash of cinnamon and nutmeg (3/4 tsp. combination)

Bring to boil and simmer until clear and thick. Serve over cake.
