HOT BACON SALAD DRESSING 
1 c. cider vinegar
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 c. water
1 1/2 tbsp. bacon fat
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 lb. diced bacon

Combine flour, sugar, and salt. Mix well with about 1/2 cup of the water. Heat vinegar and remaining water. Add flour mixture. Fry bacon; drain, reserving some of the fat. Add bacon and bacon fat to mixture. Cook to desired consistency. Wonderful on spinach salad.
