MICHAEL'S APPLE FRITTERS 
2 lg. apples
1 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. milk (enough to make thick pancake batter)
Powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar
1 1/2 c. biscuit mix
1 egg, beaten

Slice into rings cored and peeled apples 1/8 inch thick. Make batter by adding sugar, egg, and milk to biscuit mix. In skillet heat oil to deep fry temperature. Dip apple rings into batter. Use 2 forks to dip in hot oil. Cook 3 or 4 at a time. Turn over when golden. (Check often as they cook fast). Drain on paper towel. Dust with cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar.
