EASY LASAGNA | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 (28 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce 1 1/2 c. water 15 oz. carton Ricotta cheese 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese, divided 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese 2 eggs 9 uncooked lasagna noodles salt and pepper to taste Heat oven to 350°F. In 3-quart saucepan, brown meat; drain. Add spaghetti sauce and water; simmer about 10 minutes. In bowl, stir together Ricotta, half the Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, salt and pepper. Pour 1 cup of sauce on bottom of 13 x 9 baking dish. Arrange 3 uncooked pasta pieces lengthwise over sauce; cover with 1 cup sauce. Spread half of the cheese filling over sauce. Repeat layers of lasagna, sauce and filling. Top with a layer of lasagna and remaining sauce. Sprinkle with remaining Mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake 15 more minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. |
