SOUR CREAM RHUBARB CAKE | |
1/2 c. butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 egg 1 tsp. baking soda 1 c. sour cream 2 c. plus 1 tbsp. flour 3 c. finely chopped rhubarb 1 tsp. vanilla Combine soda and sour cream. Mix other ingredients. Put in greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Frost with cream cheese frosting. CREAM CHEESE FROSTING: 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese 1 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla Powdered sugar Mix together, adding enough powdered sugar until thick enough to spread. |
