PINEAPPLE NUT BREAD 
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. crushed pineapple

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together. Add the walnuts. Combine the egg, vanilla and melted butter. Add the egg mixture to the dry mixture. Dissolve the baking soda in the undrained pineapple. Add all ingredients together and stir just until blended. Pour into a greased 8x4 inch loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
