SWEDISH NUT CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. nuts, pecans or walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained

Mix above by hand; grease and flour 9x13-inch pan and bake in 350°F oven 35 to 45 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 (8 oz.) Neufchotel cheese
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts

Cream above and spread over hot cake.
