COVERED STEAK SAN MARCO 
2 lb. round steak, 1" thick, cut into serving pieces
1 env. dry onion soup mix
1 can Italian stewed tomatoes
1 tsp. oregano
Pepper & garlic & salt to taste
2 tbsp. cooking oil
2 tbsp. wine vinegar

In large skillet cooking oil and wine vinegar. Arrange meat, cover with soup mix and tomatoes. Sprinkle oregano, garlic powder and pepper. Simmer covered 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. 4-6 servings. (On electric stove, I use #2 setting on my burner.)
