CHOCOLATE BUTTERSWEETS 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 to 1 1/4 c. flour

FILLING:

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. nuts

ICING:

1/2 c. Nestles semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. water
1/2 c. powdered sugar, sifted

Mix first 5 ingredients well and make into small balls, the size of a walnut, and put on a cookie sheet and press thumb in center for the topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, fill while still warm.

CREAMY NUT FILLING: Soften 3 ounce package of cream cheese. Blend in 1 cup powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add 2 tablespoons flour. Cream well, stir in 1/2 cup nuts and put on cookie while still warm.

CHOCOLATE ICING: Melt 1/2 cup Nestles semi-sweet chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons butter with 2 tablespoons water over low heat, stirring occasionally. Add 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar and beat until smooth, put chocolate icing over the cream filling.
